Unical France : a strong market presence

Unical France was created in 1985, with the mission of bringing the excellence of the Unical group to France. Based in Rillieux-la-Pape, near Lyon, the subsidiary is now a major player in heating, air conditioning and renewable energy in France.

THE Modulex

MODULEX H% boiler is a modulating condensing heat generator designed to operate with natural gas or LPG. It is approved to operate with 20% hydrogen in natural gas. The MODULEX H% has also recently won a number of prestigious awards. Approved to run on a mixture of 20% hydrogen and methane, the MODULEX H% stands out for its innovative design, which has won it a number of awards. In 2024, it won the Red Dot Design Award in recognition of its excellence in industrial design. In 2023, it was also honoured by the ADI Design Index, a benchmark in the world of design. At the MCE 2024 Excellence Awards, it received a special mention from the technical jury, chaired by the Politecnico di Milano, for its contribution to innovation in the heat production sector. Finally, it won the Lombardy 2023 Excellence Award, presented by the Lombardy Region and ADI, in recognition of its positive impact on energy efficiency and sustainable innovation. It has two alternative communication standards: eBUS and MODBUS, for remote or local management.
