Symposium on “adding storeys—a solution to pay for the energy transition” - INES / CEA
14th February - 9:30am > 4:00pm
Salles Lumière 10 - 11

In Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux and elsewhere, office and residential buildings leave a lot of unused space—roofs, terraces, hollow spaces—that could be “invaded” and thus provide answers to the issue of urban densification and the funding of energy renovation. The created extension could also provide solar energy to part or all of the existing structure and facilitate total energy renovation of the initial building. Paris already has many such projects, testifying to the solid grounding of this new concept. Join in the symposium and discover the potential of the Lyon area and the methods for succeeding with your projects.
